On a Thursday Care Heating & Cooling (CH&C) did my annual air conditioner maintenance with no issues , but Saturday morning when we woke up there was no heat. I immediately called CH&C and they had a tech at my home within an hour- pretty amazing for an early weekend morning! I thought perhaps the previous tech had forgotten to turn the furnace back on. Unfortunately, such an easy resolution wasn't the case: the inducer motor for the furnace wasn't functioning properly, which is why the furnace didn't turn on. The tech showed me how a wire sparked when touched, which really frightened me. I feared such a spark could cause an explosion... at the very least I worried we'd be without heat for the entire weekend. I had anticipated the motor would have to be ordered and won't arrive until mid week. Luckily the furnace continued to work, and on Monday CH&C was successful in locating a new inducer motor, and installed it that afternoon- Whoopee! The bad news was the part and installation cost $636, an expense I hadn't anticipated, which is why I gave 4 stars for the cost. BUT, the service is worth 10 stars!! Care Heating & Cooling (CH&C) as always, came to the rescue. Thanks guys!
