Established in 1809 Galena is a small village located in Delaware County. Galena was founded by the first Methodist clergyman in Delaware County Gilbert Carpenter. Using an odd technique, the village name was chosen by pulling the name out of a hat. Originally established as a mill seat located between two streams, Galena remains a quiet village today. Was pleased Andy showed up on the front end of the 12-4 window given when appointment was made weeks ago. Andy was friendly and professional. Asked if I had any questions before wrapping up his work.
