Originally name Middlebury; Powell is a rapidly growing city in Delaware County. It was first settled in 1801 and referred to as Middlebury until Judge Thomas Powell established the first post office in 1857. Located between Delaware and Worthington, the expanding cities are causing Powell’s population to continue to grow. After our routine CARE winter maintenance on Friday morning in which our technician told us that everything looks great, (to our surprise) our furnace stopped working around midnight. With an 7-day old newborn in the house, we experienced some slight panic. After a couple of calls to service in the middle of the night, Valerie was able to slot us in the second spot of the day with technician Aaron. Aaron came in and assessed the situation and found that there were two male connectors that that were dislodged. Aaron was able to rewire the connection correctly with necessary male/female connectors and solved the issue within minutes. Thank you so much for the fast resolve!
